Are you staying a full week? (Continuation of the "Now What" post)
Are you staying a full week? We are so glad you are. Days in Leelanau County are long ones with so much to see and do. They almost always end with a sunset. If you are staying a full week, start by reading my last post of “Now What” to see recommendations for your first 3 days in Leelanau County. After you have read that, come back to read recommendations for the remainder of your week!!
Day 4:
Today is a great day to explore Suttons Bay! It is only about 5 minutes up the road!
On your way to Suttons Bay, pick up your morning coffee at Pedaling Beans in Lake Leelanau. You probably fell in love with 9 Bean Rows. It’s so easy to do! If you want to try something new or love what you had last time, stop in for breakfast.
Continue on to Suttons Bay, spend some time walking around this adorable little town.
Rent a bike from Suttons Bay Bikes. Depart from this quaint town onto back roads or the Leelanau Trail, a paved bike path that winds through endless orchards and vineyards, along the West Grand Traverse Bay. Grab a bike and roll to nearby boutique wineries within minutes.

It’s time to eat. As a family we have enjoyed the Roman Wheel. The variety of pizza, subs, and chicken seems to appease just about everyone.
We have heard great things about Marthas Leelanau Table:

And if you like breweries Hop Lot is a great place:

Day 7:
You have had a fun and memorable trip “Up North”. On your last day, I would recommend you going back to see or do what you wanted to but maybe passed by or didn’t have a chance to do. Maybe there was something that was your favorite, go back to it. Maybe it was a certain beach, or town, local food, or ice cream shop. We sincerely hope you loved your stay. There are SO many more recommendations that could be made. Don’t feel you have to cram everything in, instead come back again and come often. We hope to host you again next summer or have you come back in a different season to explore the seasons in Leelanau County.
